The Town of Wachapreague maintains two park facilities to accommodate the needs and interests of local residents and visitors. Whether you are into sports, nature or just want to take your children to the playground, the Town of Wachapreague is the place for you.  Come out and enjoy our beautiful parks!

 

Seaside Park

Herbert Powell Memorial Park

Seaside Park with Native Plant Garden and lovely Gazebo is located on Main Street and Atlantic Avenue. It was once the site of the historic Wachaprague Hotel. Public and private events are held at Seaside Park.

 The park is located at the South West corner of the Town of Wachapreague. It offers two tennis courts, a baseball field, picnic facilities, and playground equipment. The tennis court key can be picked up at Town Hall or Wachapreague Inn. A release form must be filled out to use tennis courts.

call Town Hall (757) 787-7117 for an application  OR
download, print and complete the appropriate application for the list below AND
return the application to Town Hall.
